OUR STORY

DesignShapers, established in 2002 under the vibrant leadership of principal architect Preeti Arora, is a design, build, project management & consultancy firm.

Since 1999, from a humble beginning with a small team, the organization has grown considerably in terms of size and professional experience. It is now a group of highly experienced Architects with a common vision of delivering the best solutions in the industry. It brings on board a rich experience borne out of a multitude of assignments ranging from private residences, residential complexes, commercial buildings, guest houses and service apartments to development of civil projects and corporate offices.

The design team draws on several years of experience in the construction, interior and Landscape industry to create solutions that plan projects and implement technology in ways that enable new processes and allows the development process to adapt to business needs.

The team has in its portfolio, a variety of assignments ranging from private residences to corporate and commercial works.

Mass Reports (UK) is the sister concern of DesignShapers.

In this collaboration we are working on land feasibility reports for properties across the UK and bring them up to a Pre-application status.

HOW WE WORK

1. UNDERSTANDING YOUR BRIEF

Before we propose any solution, the first step is to thoroughly understand your needs, requirements, aspirations and constraints. We do this by a comprehensive information and data gathering via questionnaires, working sessions, visits to existing facilities. All meetings and visits are thoroughly documented and serve as a reference and checklist during the design and development stages.

2. COMMUNICATING OUR PROPOSALS

We understand the importance of communicating our design ideas to you. We acknowledge that drawings can only be an approximate visualization tool, but we try to bridge the gap between visualization and reality as much as possible by using computer generated renderings, samples and mood boards. The better you understand our proposals, more relevant and useful your feedbacks will be.

3. HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

We recognize that projects require a large team of people. Our role is to coordinate, monitor and supervise them to ensure that everyone on the project understands and delivers his area of responsibility. Working together, establishing relationships, maintaining impartiality, being thoroughly professional and fair is our strategy.

Meet The Principals

Ar. PREETI ARORA

Preeti Arora, the Principal Architect at DesignShapers, graduated as an architect in the year 1997 completing a five years comprehensive degree package from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab. During the early years of her career while coping with her husband’s work profile she travelled across various countries. With the passion and love for her profession that she carries, she found it a brilliant opportunity to study the diverse architecture styles across the globe. Her dynamism did not stop her and she worked as a free lancer for almost five years. In 2002 she started with a fully fledged practice and started her own banner under the name of “DesignShapers Pvt. Ltd.”

Preeti’s global experience in the early years of her career set up the basis of setting up an office in the UK under the banner of Mass Reports Limited wherein she is actively working in collaboration with a British Team to create Planning Feasibility Reports.

Pushkar Arora

Pushkar Arora is one of the two principals at DesignShapers. He has a rich project management experience of 20 years in which he has worked globally in the telecom sector under the banner of Nokia. In 2011 he decided to quit his job and follow his passion in the construction and interiors industry and joined DesignShapers. All the execution projects under the banner of DesignShapers are managed in a very professional manner under his expertise.

Mohan Cashyap –

Mohan has had an extensive career spanning the Pharmaceutical Industry, Territorial Army and several business ventures. He is involved setting up new companies and as a serial investor. His 34 years at GlaxoSmithKline moved him from being a bench chemist to Information Technology and he became known as a thought leader in Laboratory Informatics. He built up a vast experience in Software Development, Systems Delivery, Project and Programme Management as well as IT Audit.

Following retirement from GSK Mohan set up his consultancy MASS Informatics. A chance meeting on the train last year rekindled a previous business acquaintance to discussing the concept of Planning Feasibility Reports. Several months of working through the business problem, defining the workflow led to the company MASS Reports.
